On the Fourth of July LEA inspector Jaden Poulin discovered a suspicious plant on a boat coming from Sebago Lake. The plant was identified as a milfoil by LEA staff, but we wanted to get a definite species identification before celebrating the save. This week, we received confirmation that the fragment was Variable Leaf Milfoil. Our primary mission for the Moose Pond Association is protecting the health of our lake including commitment to keeping Milfoil out. Thank you to everyone who has donated to fund the boat inspectors over the years. We couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts and yours to keep them working to help our lake.
